Leonardo Kids : A Step Up in Art Skills

A structured art class for children ages 6–9
focused on developing core drawing techniques
and creative thinking.

Class Description

Leonardo Kids is designed for children who are ready to understand how art works—and want to start improving how they draw. The class focuses on foundational skills such as shape construction, proportions, composition, and basic shading.

Students work with age-appropriate tools including markers, watercolor, clay, and simple arts & crafts materials. Throughout the summer, they learn how to handle these tools correctly, combine them in mixed-media projects, and follow step-by-step instructions.

While the projects are guided, students are always encouraged to make individual choices in color, composition, and character design. This helps them build confidence in their decision-making and creative process.
